What started with a grandfather who worked the trade has grown into a company led by Austin Boyd today — with his own son already learning the business alongside him. We partner with manufacturers who meet our high standards, and every installation carries the Boyd family name and four generations of hands-on craftsmanship behind it. ROBERT
Robert Boyd proudly served his country, retiring from the U.S. Military before working a string of different trades. It wasn't until later in life that he joined his son-in-law at Shwinco Windows, beginning his journey in window and door sales — and starting what would become the Boyd family legacy.
Donald
Donald (Don) Boyd proudly served his country too, retiring from the U.S. Military after multiple tours — re-enlisting each time his country called, from enlistment all the way up to Special Forces.
It was during this service that he entered the window and door industry, first at Shwinco, later founding A Better View. While Don answered the call overseas, Austin held the line back home, making sure not a single customer went unserved.
Austin
Austin Boyd grew up in the window and door industry — surrounded by grandpas, his dad, uncles, cousins, a brother, and now his own son, all mastering the trade together.
He was taught one rule: if you do what's right, you can't be wrong. It guides how he treats his customers, his community, and his family — and it's in every window and door he installs.
His company is built on that legacy: hard work, and total dedication to the craft.
Dean
Dean Boyd, the eldest of six, grew up in this industry too — tagging along on jobs since he was a boy, right alongside his brothers and sisters. At just 18, he already has more hands-on experience than many who've spent a decade in the trade.
He believes in the same motto and brings the same care and dedication to every install as his dad. The 4th generation, built on a solid foundation.
